Welcome Home Ladies and Gents of Cayuga A and Wabun A!

As I write, Sarah Flotten and the chartered buses of Stock Transportation are parked at the Timmins Airport awaiting the arrival of Air Creebec's passenger and cargo flights out of Peawanuck and Attawapiskat carrying the three Wabun long-trip sections of 2012 and their gear.

We've had only brief satellite phone conversations with the staff of the three sections when they reached their respective destinations on The Bay, but I wanted to report that all is and all are well - the sections are eager to share the events of the summer with us in the closing days - their enthusiasm is second only to our eagerness to hear what they have to say.

Also, as I write, Julie Hinchman is out in one of our boats reconnoitering the local campsites to ascertain where our sections are camped for their rest day tomorrow - we anticipate a sizable contingent of camper families going out to visit their kids' sections tomorrow afternoon to celebrate their returns.

We are readying for a dizzying and energetic return to the beach of Garden Island and closing festivities on Tuesday - we'll try to post reports on events as they unfold.

Cheers,

Dick Lewis
