W'olympics 2012

The closing ceremonies of the 2012 W'olympics were held at the campfire circle to a beautiful sunset and the awarding of medals. The competition was intense and the athletes gave their all! The order of events were as follows:

• Shot Put (water balloon toss)
• Pistols at the Gumpert's Rifle Range (squirt guns knocking over paper cups)
• Ribbon Dance (timed tumping of a wannigan)
• 4 x 19.33 meter medley swim  (1933 was the year of Wabun's founding)
• 8.0 foot APJ (animal platform jumping - sound and act out an animal as you jump)
• 4-person Wabun Crew (canoe race without paddles)
• C1 Rowing (stern-facing paddling)
