The Wawatays and Chippies returned to Garden Island this morning looking tan and happy. They enjoyed their second trip and unloaded at the beach like veteran canoe-trippers. They were all smiles after hot showers and enjoyed a relaxing morning of laundry, ping-pong, and porch time. This afternoon they competed in several of the Wabun Olympics or W'olympic events such as: Wabun Shot Put (water-ballon toss), the 4 x 19.33 meter swim medley, Wabun Crew (four-person canoeing without paddles), just to name a few. We will blog later about the results after the conclusion of the awards ceremony tonight and our final event: nose jousting!
